'Networking Hunger' a film by Megan Schmidt
Watch this 17 minute documentary investigating the efforts to alleviate hunger in Easton, Pennsylvania. While the issue remains largely invisible in modern day America, this film reveals the ongoing struggle of those without reliable food sources and the collaboration of Easton area community members to help address this issue.
“The project is my Film and Media Studies Capstone and was completed in December 2016. I am from Pottstown, Pennsylvania and am a Lafayette graduate with double major in Film and Media Studies and Engineering Studies." During her career at Lafayette College, Easton, Pennsylvania, Megan earned many awards and accolades and participated regularly in community service projects.
