The Easton Hunger Coalition received 2 years of a 3 year grant totaling $10,000 from the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America Domestic Hunger Grant program, through its sponsor, Arndt's Lutheran Church, to achieve the mission of eliminating hunger in the Easton area and the Greater Lehigh Valley. The campaign, "Hunger Free in '23" is a vision of a community with sustainable access to nutritious food for all, and with a compassionate response to hunger and the root causes of food insecurity. At this time (2021) the Easton Hunger Coalition has disbanded its structure and closed its office. The work continues by individuals and agencies that are dedicated to ending hunger in Easton, Pennsylvania, and the US.
